Donor tissue is selected from the permanent donor zone, area demarcated in green, a strip is taken and carefully removed in order to secure the necessary hair restoration follicles. The harvested hair will look and feel just as natural as the rest of the patient's hair. The area where the hair has been removed is sutured back in place with no visible scar once the patient's hair returns to its normal length.
